Connecting your tools

Send donors and gifts to your email platform, CRM, Slack, or any webhook.

Walkthrough video coming soon

A short screen-by-screen video for this guide is on the way.

On the Integrations page, connect tools like Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Brevo, Kit, MailerLite, Constant Contact, HubSpot, Bloomerang, Slack, Zapier, or a signed webhook. Every connection is included — no extra fees.

CRMs (like HubSpot and Bloomerang) work transactionally: when a gift completes, the donor is created or updated as a contact and the gift is logged against them. In HubSpot, that's a won deal in your pipeline, named with the amount, monthly vs one-time, campaign, and whether it was given in person. In Bloomerang, the donor becomes a constituent and each gift is posted as a transaction on their record. To connect either one, click Connect, sign in, and approve access — no keys to copy. Fundrly requests only the access it needs (contacts and deals for HubSpot; constituent and financial data for Bloomerang).

When your giving form collects a mailing address, it's included on the donor's record too — the contact in HubSpot, the constituent in Bloomerang, and the customer in QuickBooks — so it's there for year-end letters and donor management. (Email platforms are the exception: those only receive an address if you've pre-created an address field in that account.)

  1. 1Click a connector and enter its API key (or connect via its login for OAuth tools).
  2. 2Load your lists/groups/tags and choose where one-time and monthly donors should go.
  3. 3Save. New gifts then sync automatically; the Sync activity feed shows every delivery.

If a connection breaks — your data is safe

If a connection's credentials stop working (usually an expired login or a changed API key), the card turns red, a banner appears across your dashboard, and we email you once so you can reconnect.

Crucially, nothing is lost while it's disconnected. Every gift that comes in — including monthly renewals, refunds, and QuickBooks payouts — is saved in Fundrly and held in a queue. The moment you reconnect, everything that arrived during the gap syncs automatically, in order. You don't re-enter or re-import anything.

Tip · Integrations only ever receive a donor once they complete a gift — never before. People who start a form and leave (drop-offs) stay inside Fundrly; you see them on the Drop-offs page and win them back with Fundrly's recovery emails, but their data is never sent to your connected tools.
Tip · Donor consent is honored: if someone unchecks "Email me updates" on the form, Fundrly won't add them to your connected email tools (their donation still syncs, and receipts still send). Their profile is labeled "Opted out of email updates" so you know why they're not on the list — it isn't a broken integration.
Tip · Klaviyo gets extra detail: alongside the donor's name, email, and phone, Fundrly writes rich profile properties — last gift amount and date, one-time vs. monthly, online vs. in-person, the campaign and ad source (UTMs), and the mailing address (as Klaviyo's location) — so you can segment and personalize on any of them. Donors are added with explicit marketing consent so your campaigns actually reach them. (Other email tools only accept custom fields you've created in their account first, so Fundrly sends them the donor plus tags for giving type and source.)
