Forms & buttons overview

Build as many giving forms as you like, each embeddable as a button or inline form.

A short screen-by-screen video for this guide is on the way.

A "form" is one saved giving experience — its own headline, colors, suggested amounts, and optional campaign. Each form can be embedded a few ways: a Give button, an inline form, a site-builder embed, or a direct link. You can have as many as you want.

Why multiple forms

  • A general "Give" button for your homepage.
  • A campaign-specific form with the cause and amount pre-set — e.g. a "Help us buy a truck" button that opens a form already pointed at that campaign.
  • Different styling or wording for different pages or audiences.
  1. 1Go to Forms & buttons.
  2. 2Click "New form" to start fresh, or "Duplicate" on an existing one to copy its style.
  3. 3Edit it, then grab its embed code.
Tip · You can't delete your only form, and a form with donation history can't be deleted (to protect the records) — deactivate it instead.

How donors pay

Every form automatically offers Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, and card — you don't set anything up. When a donor's device supports a one-tap option (Apple Pay on iPhone/Safari, Google Pay on Android/Chrome, Link anywhere), it appears as a big "Donate" button at the top of the payment step so they can give in a single tap; the full card/bank form stays tucked behind a "Pay with a card" button so it doesn't crowd the screen. If no wallet is available, the card form simply shows on its own. Both one-time and monthly gifts work this way.
