Impact statements

Show donors what their gift accomplishes — and watch it scale with the amount.

A short screen-by-screen video for this guide is on the way.

An impact statement is a dynamic line on the form like "Your gift provides 120 meals" that recalculates as the donor changes their amount. It's optional and set per form.

How it works

You set what one unit costs and name the unit (singular and plural). Fundrly computes the quantity from the gift: a $5 cost-per-meal means a $300 gift shows "60 meals." You write the sentence using two placeholders: {count} and {unit}.

  1. 1In the form editor, turn on "Show an impact statement."
  2. 2Set the message, the cost per unit, and the unit names — separately for one-time and monthly gifts.
  3. 3Optionally turn on "Nudge one-time donors to give monthly" to show a one-click switch to monthly with its own impact line.
Tip · Use the live preview to confirm the wording and math before saving. The statement hides itself if a gift is below one whole unit.
