Every visitor gets a donor profile — anonymous at first, filling in the moment they share an email. The Donors page lists everyone with lifetime giving, gift count, and last seen; open one to see their full story.
What the story shows
- Each visit as a session: which form they opened, what they did step by step, and whether they gave or dropped off.
- Approximate location (city/region/country) and device — handy for telling a real donor from a bot.
- The ad source that drove the visit, and how the donor was first acquired.
- Refunds, so the story can show "gave, then refunded."
Tip · If someone returns and gives with the same email, their history merges automatically — even if they update their name (e.g. Matt → Matthew).
