How to safely test, then switch on real donations.

Before your form can take real money, two things must be true: Stripe is finished connecting, and your account email is verified. Until then, your form runs in test mode and shows a "Test mode — gifts aren't real" banner.
Testing safely
In test mode you can run end-to-end gifts to see receipts, the donor story, and analytics without charging a real card. Once you go live, test gifts are automatically filtered out of your stats so your numbers stay clean.
Tip · Make one small real gift after going live to confirm the full flow — the charge, the receipt, and the record on your dashboard.
